Bulldog Softball Team Unveils Fall and Spring Schedules

Smithfield, RI - The Bryant Bulldogs have unveiled their upcoming fall 2007 and spring 2008 schedules. Bryant will kick off their "Fall Ball" schedule with a trip to the University of Hartford on Saturday, September 15. The next week, the team will play host to interstate rivals Brown and the University of Rhode Island.

 The team's annual alumni game will be Saturday, September 29 at the Bulldog Softball complex during Bryant's homecoming weekend. Click HERE for the fall schedule.

 Once again, the team's spring schedule will kick off with a trip to Florida for the Florida Southern Tournament where the Bulldogs will face Tampa, Florida Southern, and Hillsdale.

Bryant's conference schedule kicks off March 27 at Franklin Pierce. On March 30, the Bulldogs will welcome C.W. Post to Smithfield. The Pioneers knocked the Bulldogs out of the NCAA tournament last year in the Northeast Regional finals, preventing the program's first trip to the College World Series.

The Bulldogs will also play Adelphi, whom the Bulldogs faced in NCAA regional play last year. The Bulldogs finished 2007 with a 28-18 record and trip to the NCAA Regional finals. The Bulldogs will rely heavily on a talented group of sophomores after the loss of Player of the Year Amanda Wilbur and five other seniors.
