BULLDOG SOFTBALL TO HOST ANNUAL SNOWBALL CLINIC ON FEBRUARY 20TH
SMITHFIELD, R.I. - With 10th year head coach Lisa-Ann Wallace at the helm, the Bryant University softball team will enter its second year of DI softball in 2010. From 2004-2008, Coach Wallace led the Bulldogs to five consecutive NCAA tournament berths including two conference tournament championships. She has also produced 24 all-conference players and four conference players of the year.
Coach Wallace will now bring her nearly two decades of coaching experience to the 10th annual Bryant University Snowball Clinic on Saturday, February 20, 2010. The clinic will be held for players in grades 5-8 and 9-12.
Participants will receive expert instruction from Coach Wallace, assistant Coaches Nancy Burgess and Amanda Dow-Allen, as well as players on the 2010 team. Skills to be covered include hitting, bunting, baserunning, fielding, throwing, and more. As always, there will be plenty of fun and games as well.
Time: Saturday, February 20, 2010
Grades 5-8: Registration begins at 8:30am. The clinic runs from 9:00am to 12noon.
Grades 9-12: Registration begins at 12:30pm. The clinic runs from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Place: Chace Athletic Center, Bryant University, Smithfield, RI
Cost: $45.00 Pre-registration, $50.00 at the door. Teams of 10 or more players will be discounted $5.00 per player.
