Bryant Softball Helps Out Women's Center of Rhode Island

The Bryant University softball team recently held a very successful Cell Phone Drive for the Women's Center of Rhode Island this past fall, collecting more than 30 used cell phones from bins throughout campus.

Coordinated by senior captain Ashley Coon, the used/unwanted phones collected will be sent to Shelter Alliance and parent company GRC Wireless Recycling which will refurbish or recycle the phones and send the Women's Center of Rhode Island a check for the value of the phones.  

The drive raised more than $3,000 for the women's center.  

Used cell phones were collected this fall at the entrance to the football stadium and Chace Wellness & Athletic Center.
