WEDNESDAY’S SOFTBALL DOUBLEHEADER AGAINST UALBANY POSTPONED TO THURSDAY AT 3 PM
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Due to heavy rain over the past three days, Wednesday’s home softball doubleheader against the University at Albany has been postponed to Thursday at 3 p.m.
The Bulldogs (3-19) will take on the Great Danes (8-9) on the Bryant Softball Complex as they look to break a six game losing streak.
Sophomore Lauara Bowen (Hudson, Mass.) continues to lead the way offensively for Bryant, hitting a team-high .333. Bowen leads the team in at bats (63), runs (13), hits (21), doubles (9), total bases (33) and stolen bases (3).
Following the doubleheader on Thursday, the Black and Gold will look for their first Northeast Conference win of the season when they travel to Hamden, Conn. on Saturday, April 3 to take on Quinnipiac. The Bobcats are currently 11-15 overall and 0-2 in the NEC.
