As a Sophomore: Chapman made six appearances as a sophomore, starting in two games at first base. Chapman recorded 15 putouts and one assist without committing an error, while drawing walks in games against Boston College and Quinnipiac.

As a Freshman: Chapman acted as the Bulldogs' third starter in 2008, appearing in three games with a total of one and two-thirds innings.

Before Bryant: Renee is a 2007 graduate of Sir Francis Drake High Schoo in San Anselmo, California where she played three years of varsity softball after leading her 2004 junior varsity team to a perfect 23-0 record and league championshipl. She also played varsity water polo from her freshman to junior years. She was team captain and Drake's female scholar-athlete of the year in 2007. She was also editor of the school's yearbook and a member of the Lifetime California Scholarship Federation.

Personal: Renee Doris Chapman was born on January 21, 1989. She is the daughter of Mark and Mary Chapman. Renee's major is communications.
