Nancy Burgess enters her 12th season as an assistant coach on the Bryant softball staff in 2011-12. Burgess assists with all aspects of the Bulldog softball program, including game management, recruiting, and scouting. She is the program's head fund raiser, head of human resources and travel coordinator.

A 1989 graduate of Fitchburg State, Burgess spent five years as an assistant at her alma mater, during which time the Falcons became one of the most improved teams in NCAA Division III. She earned her MBA in accounting from Fitchburg State and currently owns her own company, Burgess Consulting Associates, an accounting and human resource consulting agency.
