SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University head softball coach Lisa-Ann Wallace will be riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge on August 1-2, taking on the two-day, 198-mile bike ride through Massachusetts to help raise money for cancer research and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Playing in their first season at the Division I level, the Bryant University softball team finished with a very respectable 11 wins overall, including posting a 5-5 record against future Northeast Conference opponents. The record does not tell the whole story however, as the Bulldogs showed tremendous improvement throughout the season, playing tough against some of the top teams in the Northeast region.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University’s Anne Dobmeier (Buffalo, N.Y.) was honored with a 2009 Division I All-Independent honorable mention selection as voted on by the 13 Independent coaches and administrators Wednesday afternoon.
