Results

Waltham, Mass - The Bryant Bulldogs Swim team competed against nine other schools, during the Bentley College Invitational this Sunday at 10:30am.  The Owls of Southern Connecticut State University, ranked first in both men's & women's teams.  Bryant's men's team took seventh place with 10 points, and the women obtained ninth place with six points.

Andrea Geoffroy (Belchertown, Mass), finished the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle with (2:13.15).  Nate Olszewski (Blanford, Mass) completed the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle with (2:02.29).  Jamie MacDougall (Waltham, Mass) clocked (2:23.02) on the scoreboard during the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle.

Kim Noto (Southington, Conn) touched the wall with (27.19) in the Women's 50 Yard Freestyle.  Teammate Christa Berard (Alfred, Maine) reached the end of the 50 Free with (28:38).  Jess DePetrillo (North Kingstown, R.I.) completed the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of (32.33).  For the men Ray Savner (Bethlehem, Conn) finished with (23.39) in the 50 Free.  Teammates Bill Ryan (Warwick, R.I.) reached the end with (27.07), and Aaron Koegel (Wayland, Mass) finished the event with (29.42).

In the Women's 200 Yard Individual Medley, Kristen Brekne (Stony Brook, N.Y.) completed with (2:36.04).  Danielle L'Esperance (Sutton, Mass) finished with (2:51.27), and nine seconds later fellow Bulldog Monica Kraus (Wallingford, Conn) touched the wall with (3:00.59).  On the men's side MacDougall completed the 200 Yard IM, with (2:48.87).

During the Women's 100 Yard Freestyle, Noto finished with (59.65), Berard completed the 100 Free with (1:02.81), and DePetrillo closed in with (1:13.65).  For the men Savner finished with (52.79), Ryan completed the men's 100 Yard Free with (1:04.90), six seconds later Koegel touched the paint with (1:10.63).

Geoffroy completed the 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of (2:27.37), L'Esperance finished with (2:54.03) on the clock.

In the Women's 200 Yard Breastroke event, Brekne reached the boards with (2:54.52).  Teammate Kraus completed with (3:10.12).  On the men's side Olszewski finished the men's 200 Yard Breastroke with (2:41.12).

For the Women's 400 Yard Freestyle Relay: Noto, Brekne, Geoffroy, and Berard finished with (4:04.38).  On the men's side: Ryan, Koegel, MacDougall, and Savner completed the Men's 400 Yard Free with (4:15.12)

The Bulldogs will return to action on December 9th, when they compete in the Northeast-10 Conference Championships.
