BRYANT SWIM RESULTS VS. ST. MICHAELS
Men: St. Michael's 138.5, Bryant 114.5
Women: Bryant 155, St. Michael's 107
SMITHFIELD, RI -- Freshman Jess Looney (Goffstown, NH) picked up three individual victories Saturday to help lead the Bryant University women's swim team to a 155-107 win over St. Michael's University at the Chace Athletic Center Pool. The Bryant men fell to the visiting Purple Knights in the dual meet, 138.5-114.5.
Looney picked up a win in the 1650-yard freestyle in a time of 18:46.16 and also captured the 500-yard freestyle in 5:36.41. She also won the first the 200-yard IM by over six second in 2:20.16.
Margaret Dickinson (West Newbury, Mass.) was first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:08.31) with Lauren Jette (Old Lyme, Conn.) second (2:09.76).
The Bryant men were led by junior Ray Savner (Bethlehem, CT) who captured the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.79), the 50-yard freestyle (23.14), and the 100-yard freestyle (51.69).
Bryant will host Salem State (women only) and Bridgewater State
next Saturday at the Chace Athletic Center Pool starting at 1 p.m.
