MEDFORD, Mass. - Sophomore Hafiz Greigre of Attleboro took home first place honors in the men's 55 meters while teammate Dallas Lynch won the men's triple jump at Saturday's Tufts University Stampede.  Jessica Cegarra earned a second-place finish in the women's shot put.  The Bulldogs will travel to the Northeast-10 Conference Indoor Championships next Saturday at Southern Connecticut.

Greigre, who placed second in the men's 200 meters in 23.04, ran the top time in the 55 meter prelims in 6.65, ran a personal-best 6.53 to edge teammate Daniel Kwarteng for first place.  Kwarteng was second in the 55 meter finals in 6.62 seconds.

Kwarteng also placed seventh in the men's high jump, clearing 5 feet, 9.75 inches and would later earn a fourth-place finish in the men's long jump with a leap of 21 feet, 4.25 inches - just three-quarters of an inch from a personal best. 

Lynch took ninth in the long jump (19-7) but would later make up for it with a first-place finish in the triple jump, clearing a new personal-best of 44 feet, 10.75 inches, nearly four inches better than second-place Fred Jones of Tufts who cleared 44-6.75.

On the women's side, senior Michelle Morris was fifth in the women's finals of the 55 meter dash.  After qualifying with a personal-best time of 7.74 seconds in the prelims, Morris bettered that mark with a time of 7.73 in the finals. She would later take 11th in the women's 200 meters in 28.69 seconds.

Lisa Bielenin would take third for the Bulldogs in the 400 meters in a personal-best time of 62.76 seconds while teammate Tia Freeman was 19th in 1:07.85.

In the middle distance events, freshman Nicole Radzik had a strong meet, placing third in the 3,000 meters in 11 minutes, 1.70 seconds. Her previous best this season was 11:15.8 at Brown back in December. 

In the field events, Cegarra took second in the women's shot put with a mark of 40 feet, 6 inches while teammate Amber Torrey was third behind Cegarra at 37-3.25.  Torrey would later take second in the women's weight throw at 49-5.5. 

The Bulldogs will travel to the Northeast-10 Indoor Championships next weekend at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Conn.
