Track's Rebecca Lange Places 14th at Holy Cross Heptathlon This Week

LANGE SETS SCHOOL RECORD IN WOMEN'S HEPTATHLON AT HOLY CROSS

HEPTATHLON RESULTS
WORCESTER, MASS - Sophomore Rebecca Lange set four new season-best marks in placing 14th overall at this week's Holy Cross Multi-Event Meet Heptathlon.  Lange earned a school-record 2,993 total points in the seven events over the course of two days.

During the first day of competition, Lange ran a personal-best in the 100 meters in 19.88 seconds and followed with a PR in the 200m in 29.43 seconds.  She would also turn in a strong performance in the high jump portion of the afternoon, clearing a personal-best 4 feet, 6 inches. 

During the second day, Lange cleared 13 feet, 7.5 inches in the long jump and closed out the event wtih a personal-best in the 800 meters in 2:41.76.
