SMITHFIELD, RI -   The Bryant men's and women's indoor track teams will head to New Haven, Conn. this Saturday to take part in the 2006 Northeast-10 Conference Indoor Track Championships, hosted by Southern Connecticut State.

The Bulldogs will look to score points in the sprints at the meet with sophomore Hafiz Greigre posting one of the conference's fastest indoor times in the 55 meters  and 200 meters.  UMass Lowell's Lawrence Aidoo (6.46) and Southern's Tyrone Joseph (6.48) will battle with Greigre for the title as Greigre comes in having run the 55m in a time of 6.48 earlier this season.

Greigre, Aidoo, and Joseph are also expected to battle in the 200 meters. Senior Steve Barone posted the conferences third-best time in the 1,000 meters and should contend for a top finish in the event Saturday.  Pole Vaulter Jozef Gallot has enjoyed an outstanding indoor season, setting a school record by going over 13 feet and should is expected to lead the way in the field events for the Bulldogs along with Dallas Lynch in the long and triple jump.

On the women's side, junior sprinter Natasha Stevenson has the conference's second-fastest time in the 200 meters at 25.78, just behind Lowell's Ashley Moulton's time of 25.69. She'll also look to battle for a top spot in the finals of the 55 meters.

Jessica Cegarra has an indoor conference title in the shot put and is a heavy favorite to repeat again while Stevenson will look to help the team out in the long jump as well as Samantha Genatossio who will compete in both the long and triple jump.
