Three School Records Broken at Brown Invitational Sunday
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Three more school records were broken by the Bryant Outdoor Track team Sunday at the Brown Invitational. Hafiz Greigre set a new 400-meter record with a time of 47.31, while Mary Sanker and Rob Schneider each broke the female and male pole vaulting records. The Bulldogs will compete at Northeast-10 Championships Saturday at Lowell, Mass.

School Records Fall at MIT Invitational Saturday
CAMBRIDGE, MASS. The Bryant outdoor track team set numerous school records this weekend at the MIT Spring Invitational.
On the womens side, Stephanie Montagno captured the 400-meters, setting a school record, winning in 59.24. Nicole Radzik also set a 23-year school record, by 32-seconds, placing second in the 5000-meters in 18:21.97.
On the mens side, Hafiz Greigre continued his dominance, setting school records by capturing the 100-meters in 10.63 and the 200-meters in 21.07.
Teammate Alex Engel placed second in the 400-meters, while Joe Brennan was right behind him in third place.
The Bulldogs will participate in the Brown Invitational next Saturday.

Track & Field Shines at Northeastern Saturday
DEDHAM, Mass. The Bryant University mens and womens track teams had a fine day competing at the Northeastern University Huskie Solomon Invitational, particularly in the relays where three relay teams captured first place honors. Senior Hafiz Greigre also ran well, taking first in both the 100 and 200 meters.

2007 Bryant Track & Field Invitational Recap
SMITHFIELD, RI - This time the sun was out. Despite unseasonably cold temperatures and a chilly wind, this year's Bryant Invitational was nothing quite like last year's that saw the cancellation of several events due to snow, ice, and rain. And the Bryant men's and women's track & field teams turned in a very strong performance in only the team's second outdoor meet of the season.

Greigre and Stevenson Named NE-10 Track Athletes of the Week
EASTON, MASS. - After winning multiple events at the RIC Invitational Saturday, Hafiz Greigre (Attleboro, Mass.) and Natasha Stevenson (Haverhill, Mass.) were named the male and female athletes of the week by the Northeast-10 Conference Tuesday. Liana Greig (York, ME) was also named the track freshman of the week. The Bulldogs host the Bryant Invitational this Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.

Outdoor Track Teams Capture Numerous Events at RIC Invitational; Bulldogs Host Bryant Invite Next Saturday
PROVIDENCE, R.I. The Bryant outdoor track squad competed in its first spring meet Saturday, capturing many races at the RIC Invite.
On the womens side, Natasha Stevenson took first place honors in the 100 meters and 200 meters, while Stephanie Montagno finished second in both races. On the mens side, Hafiz Greigre continued his outstanding season winning the 100 meters and 200 meters races. The Bulldogs will continue their spring season next Saturday when they host the Bryant Invitational at 10 a.m.

GREIGRE FINISHES FOURTH IN FINALS OF MEN'S 200M AT NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
BOSTON, Mass. - Bryant University sprinter Hafiz Greigre placed fourth in the finals of the men's 200 meter dash Saturday at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships at Reggie Lewis Center. Greigre, a junior from Attleboro, MA finished in a time of 21.58.

Hafiz Greigre to Compete at NCAA Indoor Championship Friday and Saturday in Boston, Mass.
BOSTON, MASS. - Sprinter Hafiz Greigre will compete in the 200-meters at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships this weekend at the Reggie Lewis Center. Greigre ranks second in the nation in the 200-meters with a time of 21.33. Greigre is scheduled to run the prelims Fridays night at 7:30 p.m. with the finals taking place Saturday 5:40 p.m.

Men's and Women's Indoor Track Teams Compete at New Englands
BOSTON The Bryant men's and women's indoor teams took part in the 2007 New England Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend at Boston University. The men's team placed 20th out of 32 teams with six points while the women did not score.
The men were led by sprinter Hafiz Greigre who placed seventh in the 55 meter prelims in a time of 6.46 seconds and later placed third in the finals of the men's 200 meters (21.33 seconds).

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Bryant men's and women's indoor track & field teams placed fourth respectively at the 2007 Northeast-10 Indoor Track & Field Championships. The men were led by Hafiz Greigre who defended his conference title by winning the men's 200 meters.

Bulldogs to Host Bryant Invitational April 7 & Carnival of Relays April 27
The Bulldogs will host the Bryant University Outdoor Track & Field Invitational on Friday, April 7. The outdoor track meet will be held on the Campus of Bryant University. Coach Trish Hillery leads the Bulldogs in her first year as coach. Information for visiting teams is now available online.

Indoor Track Competes at Valentines Invitational
BOSTON, MASS. The Bryant track and field teams competed over the weekend at the Valentines Invitational on the campus of Boston University. Competing against many Division I schools, the Bulldogs held their own led by Hafiz Greigre who finished second in the 200 meter setting a school record with a time of 21.57. Greigre also placed tenth in the 55 meter race in a time 6.50. The Bulldogs will compete Friday in the Northeast-10 Championships (11 a.m.).

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The Bryant men's and women's indoor track & field teams turned in a record-setting afternoon at Smith Saturday. The men placed second while the women were first overall at the meet in team scoring.

Plenty of Firsts For Indoor Track at Wesleyan Invitational Saturday
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. Idle for more than a month, the Bryant mens and womens indoor track & field teams showed little rust Saturday at the Wesleyan Invitational.
Nicole Radzik took top honors in the womens 5000 meters in 18:35..92 while teammate Jen Goodwin finished in the top five in the race, earning a fifth-place finish in 19:42.25. Stephanie Montagno placed third in the womens 500 meters in 1:21.90.

More School Records Fall At Harvard Indoor Track & Field Invitational Saturday
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Bryant University mens and womens indoor track & field teams, competing for just the second time this indoor season, turned in another solid team performance at the Harvard University Invitational Saturday at the Gordon Track & Tennis Center. For the Bulldogs, the results are a good sign as the teams head into the winter break.
The Bulldogs looked strong in both the track events and field events on Saturday, with several setting new PRs and a few more school records set.

Torrey Take First Place In Weight Throw at Husky Winter Carnival Saturday
BOSTON, Mass. The temperature outside may not have felt like winter, but the indoor track season kicked off Saturday at the Northeastern University Husky Winter Carnival at Reggie Lewis Center. The Bulldogs had several strong performances at the meet in the first of just two dates of competition in the month of December for the Bulldogs.

Bulldog indoor track teams open 2006-07 season at the Husky Winter Carnival
The Bulldog indoor track team will look to build on an impressive 2005-06 season when they kick off their 2006-07 season Saturday at the Husky Winter Carnival in Boston.
The Bulldog men are led by Hafiz Greigre (Attleboro, MA) who won two indoor Northeast-10 titles last season. Hafiz went on to qualify for the NCAA Championship in the 200 meter and finished 8th nationally.
The women are led by returners Natasha Stevenson (Haverhill, MA), Nicole Radzik (Sutton, MA) and Rachel Martinich (Fairfield, CT).
This will mark the first indoor season for new coach Trish Hillery.

Women's Cross Country and Track & Field Honored For Academic Performance
The Bryant University women's cross country track & field team was recognized this afternoon with selection to the 2006 U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association team academic honors for their outstanding work in the classroom this past year. During this past spring, the Bulldogs turned in an impressive spring performance, finishing third overall at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship meet hosted by Bryant University.
