Indoor Track Competes at Valentine's Invitational

BOSTON, MASS. - The Bryant track and field teams competed over the weekend at the Valentine's Invitational on the campus of Boston University.

Competing against many Division I schools, the Bulldogs held their own led by Hafiz Greigre (Attleboro, Mass.) who finished second in the 200 meter setting a school record with a time of 21.57. Greigre also placed tenth in the 55 meter race in a time 6.50.

Pole vaulter Rob Schneider (North Cornwall, Conn.) continued his sold season, placing 13th in the pole vault, vaulting 13-05.25, just .50 short of the school record which he set last weekend.

Competing on Saturday, the women's team fared well as Amber Torrey (Plainfield, NH) placed eighth in the weight throw, posting a score of 49-08.50.

Nicole Radzik (Manchaug, Mass.) continued her stellar year, finishing 30th in the 5000 meter in 18:21.17., while Stephanie Kirk (Pompton Lakes, NJ) placed 46th in the 55 meter hurdles in 9.46

The Bulldogs will compete Friday in the Northeast-10 Championships (11 a.m.)
