Indoor Track and Field Teams Place Fourth at Northeast-10 Championships

INDOOR TRACK TEAMS PLACE FOURTH AT CONFERENCE MEET
NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Bryant men's and women's indoor track & field teams placed fourth respectively at the 2007 Northeast-10 Indoor Track & Field Championships. The men were led by Hafiz Greigre who defended his conference title by winning the men's 200 meters.
Greigre, who placed third in the finals of the men's 55 meters in 6.49 seconds, took top honors in the 200m in a time of 21.91 seconds. Teammate Joe Brennan placed second in the 400 meters in 50.94 seconds.
The men's 4x400 meter relay team finished second in 3:27.72. In the field events, Rob Schneider was third in the men's pole vault while Greigre, who captured the long jump title last year at the championships, took third with a leap of 22 feet, 9.25 inches.
On the women's side, junior Nicole Radzik had a busy and successful afternoon, placing second in both the women's 3,000 meters (10:44.72) and the 5,000 meters in 18:31.53.
Like the men's 4x400 meter relay, the women's relay team took second in a time of 4:07.05. Amber Torrey was third in the women's weight throw with a best mark of 48 feet, 10.75 inches.
