Radzik Places 14th At NCAA Indoor National's Saturday

BRYANT'S NICOLE RADZIK PLACES 14TH IN 5,000 METERS AT NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS

MANKATO, Minn. - Bryant University senior cross country / track & field standout Nicole Radzik (Sutton, MA) placed 14th in the finals of the women's 5,000 meters Saturday afternoon at 2008 NCAA Division II Indoor Championships, hosted by Minnesota State - Mankato.

Radzik earned a trip to the championships by posting the country's 16th-best time in the 5,000 meters in 17:32.90 this past season.  At the championships Saturday, Radzik crossed the line in a time of 18:01.66, placing ahead of Western Washington's Sarah Porter and Cal State Los Angeles senior Karla Alburez.  Winrose Karunde of Abilene Christian was the overall winning, crossing the line in 17:02.93.
