BRYANT TRACK & FIELD TEAMS PICKED 10TH AND 11TH IN NEC PRESEASON POLL
SOMERSET, N.J. - The Bryant University men's and women's indoor track & field teams were picked to finish 10th and 11th respectively this year in their first year competing in the Northeast Conference. Under the direction of second-year coach Stephanie Reilly, the men were picked to finish ahead of Central Connecticut and St. Francis (NY) while the women were picked one spot ahead of St. Francis (NY).
Monmouth is the preseason favorite in both preseason polls. The Hawks garnerd nine out of a possible 12 first-place votes on the women's sie and eight first-place votes on the men's side.
The Bulldogs, competing in the NEC Championships for the first time, opened their season at the Brown University Alden Invitational over the weekend. They'll return to action on January 16-17 at the Sorlein Invite hosted by the University of Rhode Island.
