BOSTON - Bryant University standout Deirdre Doyle continued to re-write the school record book Friday at the Boston University Valentines Day Invitational as the Bulldogs had a solid outing in their final tune-up before the Northeast Conference Championships next week.

The freshman standout set another mark in the women's mile with a  19th-place finish in a time of 5 minutes, 0.15 seconds Friday afternoon, a time that qualifies the Ireland native for the New England Championships and is the second-fastest time in the Northeast Conference this indoor season.

Classmate Megan Robertson continues to excel in her first year competing as the freshman set a new personal-best in the mile with a time of 5:15.33 and placing her in the top-10 in the NEC this season.

Amanda Dilley turned in a solid time in the 55 meter hurdles in 9.61 seconds to place 62nd overall while the Bulldogs had three compete in the high jump.  Joanna Chanaj and Laura Weeks tied for 16th after clearing 5 feet, 0.25 inches while senior Melanie Farbotko also competed.
