BRYANT'S DOYLE NAMED NEC TRACK FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK FOR SECOND TIME

SOMERSET, N.J. - After another record breaking weekend last week at the BU Terrier Classi, Bryant University freshman Deirdre Doyle has once again been honored by the Northeaset Conference. Doyle picks up her second Road Runner Sports Rookie of the Week honor after significantly lowering her 3K time. 

Competing at the Boston University Terrier Classic, Doyle completed the 3000-meter run in 9:55.93 to guarantee herself a bid to the ECAC Championships in March.  The first-year Bulldog, who was running the 3K for only the second time as a collegian, trimmed  more than 11 seconds off her season-opening performance at Harvard in early December.
