This is the first stop in the college coaching ranks for
White, who will be responsible for coaching sprinters and
throwers.
He comes to Bryant after eight successful years at Westwood High School in Westwood, Mass., where he coached multiple division and all-state champions, including two-time 1000m champion Jeff Moriarty, who ran the second fastest time in the nation his senior year. In addition, Neal guided class champions for men and women in the 55m, men in the 200m and 4x400m, 800m and 4x800m, and had individual placers in high jump, shot put, 600m, 300m and high hurdles. His teams were consistently at the top of the Tri-Valley Conference, and he has had numerous athletes compete at the collegiate level.
White is a USATF Level II certified coach in sprints and
hurdles and obtained his USTFCCCA certification in jumps this past
summer.
White is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Boston and has worked in the field of Biomedical research for over 15 years. He lives in Franklin, Mass., with his wife Melanie and son Tom.
