Paul Reilly enters his third season assisting the Bryant University men's and women's cross country teams and men's and women's distance track & field runners. Reilly, who currently serves as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Advising at Bryant, was a former standout collegiate runner at Providence College.

In 2010, Reilly assisted  the team to an unfaltering season that saw the improvement of multiple runners. A tactical mix of freshman and upperclassmen paved the way for Bryant XC to continue to elevate its level of competition, as the men's and women's side captured sixth and eighth place respectively in the conference.

In his first year with the program, Reilly saw the Bulldogs make improvements and had several runners with top 20 finishes including standout freshman Deidre Doyle (Carlow, Ireland) who was named XC All-NEC and finished seventh overall at conference championships.

The 2009 indoor season for track and field proved to be successful as well for the Bulldogs as Reilly helped the men's squad to a sixth place finish.

While at Providence, Reilly participated on two BIG EAST Conference cross country championship teams and was a scoring member of the Friar team that finished third at the 2000 NCAA Division I Championships.

Serving as team captain of both the Providence cross country and track teams in 2001 and 2002, Reilly was the New England and IC4A 3,000 meter champion and was an NCAA Division I qualifier in the 5,000 meters.

A native of Ireland, Reilly competed for the Irish National team at the World Cross Country Championships in 2001.

He is currently competing in several area races and owns a personal best time of 4.08 in the mile as well as a 8.11 in the 3,000m, 13.56 in the 5,000m, and 23.43 in the 8K.

Reilly earned his bachelor's degree in sociology from Providence in 2002 and master's degree in 2004. He is currently completing an MBA at Bryant University.
