Fogarty's 26 Leads Bulldogs Past Greyhounds

WORCESTER, MASS. - Bryant senior guard Dede Fogarty (Middletown, Conn.) equaled a
career-high with 26 points to help lead the Bryant women's basketball team to a 67-52
Northeast-10 conference win over Assumption here Monday night.
The win, Bryant's fourth-straight, improves the Bulldogs record to 9-2 overall and 4-2 in
the NE-10. Assumption, which got 16 points from Kerry Milhaven, drops to 5-6 (1-5
NE-10).
The Bulldogs trailed 20-19 at the half but raced out to a 49-39 lead following a Fogarty
three from the corner, helping spark a 10-2 Bryant run. After Assumption pulled to
within 51-41 with a little over five minutes left, Fogarty drained her third trey of the
night to push the lead back to 54-41 with4:28 remaining and the Bulldogs coasted from
there.
Kellie Fournier (Westport, Mass.) came off the bench and finished with a double-double
with 14 points and 11 rebounds. The Bulldogs shot 40.0 percent from the floor in the
game and turned the ball over 25 times.
Assumption turned the ball over 31 times and finished shooting 37.3 percent from the
floor.
Bryant will host Bentley College on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Chace Athletic Center.
