No. 8 American International Rolls Past Bryant Women

SPRINGFIELD, MASS - Bryant sophomore guard Erin Murphy scored 11 points and picked up three steals but it was not enough as the eighth-ranked American International Yellow Jackets rolled to an 89-55 Northeast-10 Conference win over the Bulldogs Monday night at Butova Gymnasium.
Bryant (11-5, 6-5) shot just 32.7 percent from the floor and turned the ball over 27 times as the Yellow Jackets got a game-high 27 points off the bench from guard Debbie Sampson and shot 47.3 percent to improve to 16-1 overall and remain undefeated in conference at 10-0.
Bryant trailed 47-25 at the half and managed just 2 of 15 three-pointers in the game. AIC had the hot hand from the outside, making 11 of 31 three's in the game and tallying 15 steals.
Bryant will travel to Saint Rose on Saturday for a 1:30 p.m. game.
