BRYANT'S JOANNA SKIBA AND SHANNON PERRY NAMED ALL-CONFERENCE THIRD TEAM

SMITHFIELD, RI –   Bryant University forward Shannon Perry (Providence, RI / LaSalle) and guard Joanna Skiba (Providence, RI / Classical) have been named to the 2006 Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team the conference announced this week.  

Perry averaged 19.3 points per game and 12.7 rebounds in 16 games this season for the Bulldogs.  She posted 14 double-doubles on the year, scoring a season-high 27 points against Assumption and Southern New Hampshire. 

Against SNHU, Perry grabbed 15 rebounds and made 10 of 17 shots from the floor.  

Skiba (left), a conference All-Rookie selection as a freshman and third team all-conference pick as a sophomore, was second on the team with 16.0 ppg and led the Bulldogs with 62 three-point field goals. 

She scored a career-high 26 points against Stonehill on Jan. 7 and equaled the mark with 26 against Le Moyne, going 8 for 10 from the floor including 5 of 7 from three-point range.
