2005-06 Season Outlook: Will be an integral part of the Bulldogs' post play this season. With good blocking and rebounding ability, Abby will get the starting nod and play a lot of minutes. Lesneski will be asked to play a more important part on the defensive end after the top blocking defenders departed to graduation.
As a Sophomore: Played in every game a season ago averaging just over 10 minutes a game. Averaged two points and two rebounds per game but was a force in the paint blocking 12 shots and coming up with 21 steals. Had a career high five rebounds against Bentley and nine points against Dominican last season.
As a Freshman: Appeared in 12 games for the Bulldogs. Had a career high six points in a win over Saint Michael's.
Before Bryant: Three-time First-Team SMAA All-Star selection. One of 10 finalists for Maine McDonald's Miss Basketball Award. Co-captain during her junior and senior year at South Portland High School.
Personal: Abigail Lesneski was born Feb. 5, 1985. Daughter of Paul and Jean Lesneski.
