2005-06 Season Outlook: One of three returning starters for the Bulldogs this season. Erin is a pure shooter that can hit from anywhere on the floor. Also works hard inside and grabs a lot of rebounds.
As a Sophomore: Started in all but three games last season for the Bulldogs and averaged 5.4 ppg and 3.8 rpg. Was third on the team in steals with 38. Scored a career high 20 points agaisnt Le Moyne. Pulled down a career high seven rebounds against Franklin Pierce.
As a Freshman: Appeared in 24 games and avergaed 1.5 points per game and 1 rebound per game. Had a career high six points in a loss at Saint Rose. Grabbed a career high 4 rebounds in a win over Franklin Pierce. Appeared in Bryant's ECAC Tournament loss to Merrimack College.
Before Bryant: Erin is a 2003 graduate of Colonie Central High School. Four-year varsity letterwinner in basketball. Two-time First Team Suburban Council All-Star selection and two-time Channel 13 All-Star. Led team to New York Section 2 Championship, Class A Federation Championship, and New York Class A State Championship. MVP of Colonie Lady Raider Christmas Tournament.
Personal: Erin Murphy was born July 31, 1985. Daughter of Edward and Rosaire Murphy.
