Today's Game

The Bryant University Bulldogs take on  the Riverhawks of UMass-Lowell today in a Northeast-10 Conference game. This is the first of two meetings this season for these teams. Last season, Bryant defeated Lowell 57-54 in Smithfield, RI.

Game Notes

Bryant got back on the winning track defeating Assumption College 80-76 Wednesday night at the Chace Athletic Center in Smithfield, RI. Joanna Skiba (Providence, R.I.) reached the 1,000 point milestone just 1:38 into the game and was presented with a gameball by Head Coach Mary Burke. Skiba led the Bulldogs with 22 points.

Trailing 67-66 with five minutes to play, junior point guard Lynne-Ann Kokoski (Hatfield, Mass.) drove to the net, sinking a tough basket, drawing the foul, and converting the three-point play to give the Bulldogs a lead they would not relinquish.

Kelsey O'Keefe (Warren, Mass.) nailed a jumper with 1:26 to play to give Bryant a three-point lead. O'Keefe, who ranks third on Bryant with 13.4 points per game, scored 15 second-half points while grabbing eight rebounds.

Senior Lauren Rubenoff (New Hartford, Conn.) added 12 points. Rubenoff is the team leader in rebounding (7.2 per game).

Freshman Kristin Mraz (Johnstown, NY) started her first collegiate game, making two three-pointers and finishing with eight points.

Senior captain Erin Murphy (Albany, N.Y.) tallied 11 points and eight rebounds in the win.

The Riverhawks of UMass-Lowell

UMass-Lowell dropped their lastr game 68-50 to Stonehill Wednesday night in Easton, Mass. Liron Asher led the Riverhawks with 13 points, while Antonnea Robinson 11. Revital Carmon grabbed nine rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench. The Riverhawks are 0-3 in conference play.

NEXT UP FOR BRYANT
The Bulldogs will travel to Bentley College on Tuesday night for a 6:30 p.m. game in Waltham, Mass. The next home game for the Bulldogs will be Saturday, Dec. 9 against Southern N.H.
