Skiba Named Northeast-10 Player of the Week
O'Keefe Named Co-Freshman of the Week

 SOUTH EASTON, MASS.- Senior Joanna Skiba (Providence, RI) capped off an excellent week by being named the Northeast-10 Player of the Week from January 14-21. Skiba averaged 24 points in two games this week, including 31 points off the bench in a 79-68 win at Southern New Hampshire. She did not start in either game this week, instead providing the Bulldogs with instant energy off the bench. Skiba moved into ninth place on the Bryant all-time scoring list and has 1,207 career points.
 

 Freshman Kelsey O'Keefe was named Freshman of the Week
for the second time.

Her teammate, freshman Kelsey O'Keefe (Warren, Mass.) was named the Co-Freshman Player of the Week. She averaged 17.5 points, in victories over Le Moyne and Southern New Hampshire, while posting a double-double in a 68-48 win over Le Moyne, tallying 17 points and grabbing 13 boards, and recorded a career-high with five steals. She added 18 points and had seven rebounds in a 79-68 win over Southern New Hampshire. O'Keefe was named the Co-Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week from January 1-7. She is second on the team averaging 12.4 points-per-game, while grabbing a team-high 6.5 rebounds.

Bryant will go for its third straight victory against UMass Lowell Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Chace Center.
