GAME
The Bryant women's basketball team hosts the University of
Bridgeport of the East Coast Conference Wednesday night at 6:00
p.m. in the Chace Athletic Center after Sunday's originally
scheduled contest between the two teams, set to take place in
Bridgeport, Conn., was postponed due to inclimate weather.

The Bulldogs and the Purple Knights have met 12 times entering the
2007-08 season and Bryant holds the 8-4 (.667) advantage. The
Bulldogs took last season's contest, a 78-57 win at home on Dec.
17, 2006, and the last time Bryant traveled to Bridgeport, it
opened the 1996-97 season with a 76-73 win.

The Bulldogs took down their second Top-25 opponent of the season
with a 59-53 win over No. 15 Stonehill College Wednesday night at
the Chace Athletic Center. Behind a game-high 17 points from
sophomore Kelsey O'Keefe, Bryant handed the Skyhawks their first
loss of the year.

* Bryant is 3-1 at home this season with wins over UMass Lowell,
then-No. 21 Bentley and No. 15 Stonehill. The Bulldogs are 1-0
against ECC teams in 2007-08, opening the season with a 68-63 road
win over Adelphi University. Last year, the Bulldogs were 12-3
inside the friendly confines of the Chace Athletic Center, with
losses coming to Southern New Hampshire, Pace and Stonehill.
* Senior captain Lynne-Ann Kokoski sits at No. 4 in all-time assists for Bryant women's basketball with 214 dishes and No. 8 in steals with 107. Her 162 made free throws rank her ninth all-time while her 251 attempts from the line put her seventh.
* In just her second season as a Bulldog, Kelsey O'Keefe has already cracked the top-10 in career field goals made (10th/191), 3-pointers made (8th/35), 3-pointers attempted (7th/140) and blocked shots (8th/23), and her current numbers rank her in the top-10 in scoring average (2nd/13.9 ppg), field goal percentage (2nd/.461) and rebounding average (3rd/6.8). O'Keefe also owns the No. 1 spot for points in a single game (33) and field goals made (13), both against Adelphi, Nov. 15.
* Sophomore Adrianne Mayshar's 20 blocked shots ranks her right behind O'Keefe at ninth all-time for the Bulldogs, while rookie Siamone Bennett's four blocks against Stonehill ties her at No. 1 for blocks in a single game.

Following today's game against Bridgeport, the Bulldogs will host
another non-conference opponent in Post University tomorrow
(Thurs., Dec. 20) at 5:30 p.m. in the Chace Athletic Center. It
will be the Bryant women's last game before the winter break and
marks the first-ever between the Bulldogs and the Eagles.
