WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TO HOST NO. 9 BENTLEY TUESDAY NIGHT

BRYANT UPDATE
The Bryant women's basketball team hosts No. 9 Bentley
College Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m. in a Northeast-10 Conference
game at the Chace Athletic Center. This will be the first of two
meetings this year between the Bulldogs and Falcons. Bryant was
swept in four meetings last year, two in the regular season and
once in both the NE-10 and NCAA Tournaments.

The Bulldogs and Falcons have met 63 times entering the 2007-08
season and Bentley holds the 58-5 (.921) advantage. Of its five
wins, Bryant has only beaten Bentley once in the regular season, a
63-51 win on Feb. 3, 2007 at the Chace Athletic Center. Three of
the Bulldogs' four postseason victories over the Falcons came in
Northeast-10 Tournament play, while the fourth came most recently
in the 2003-04 NCAA Tournament (70-65).

OUT
The Bulldogs defeated UMass Lowell, 71-37, at home Saturday
afternoon behind a strong defensive effort and a game-high 16
points from junior guard Cara Johnson.

NEXT
Following Tuesday's game against Bentley, the Bulldogs will travel
to Southern New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon to take on the
Penmen at 1:30 pm. The Penmen and the Bulldogs split the season
series, 1-1, last season and Bryant is 20-9 all-time against SNHU.
The last time Bryant traveled to Manchester, NH, it topped the home
team 79-68 on Jan. 17, 2007.

* Lynne-Ann Kokoski needs just three more assists to hit the 200
mark for her career. She also needs five steals to get to 100 in
her career.
* Bryant is 1-1 at home this season with a 71-27 win over UMass
Lowell and a 65-54 loss to Franklin Pierce. Last year, the Bulldogs
were 12-3 inside the friendly confines of the Chace Athletic
Center, with their losses coming to Southern New Hampshire, Pace
and Stonehill.
* Bentley's head coach Barbara Stevens in the winningest women's
basketball coach in Division II history.
