BRYANT WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PICKED NINTH IN NE-10

SOUTH EASTON, Mass. - The Bryant University women's basketball team was selected to finish ninth in the Northeast-10 Conference this season by the head coaches as the conference office officially released the 2007-08 Preseason Coaches Poll.
The Bulldogs, under the direction of 17th-year coach Mary Burke, return 10 letterwinners from last year's team that posted a 19-10 overall record and 14-8 record in the Northeast-10. Leading the way is sophomore standout Kelsey O'Keefe (Warren, Mass.) who led the Bulldogs with 14.0 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game in earning Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie honors as a freshman.
The Bulldogs will have only one senior on this year's roster as senior guard Lynne-Ann Kokoski (Hatfield, Mass.) returns for her final season after playing in all 29 games as a junior, scoring 7.0 points per game and dishing out 109 assists.
Bryant will open the season on Thursday, November 15 at Adelphi.
