BRYANT WINS PRESEASON EXHIBITION, 57-44, OVER FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON UNIVERSITY
MADISON, NJ - In its first preseason exhibition game, the 2007-08 Bryant University women's basketball team topped Fairleigh Dickinson University, 57-44, on the road Wednesday night. The Bulldogs were led by Courtney Schermerhorn and Cara Johnson, who combined for 30 points.
Schermerhorn's 16 points led the Bulldogs, and the sophomore
added four assists and six rebounds on the night. Junior Cara
Johnson put up 14 points of her own, while Kelsey O'Keefe posted a
team-high 11 boards.
Bryant held FDU to just 14 second-half points and led, 32-30,
at the half.
