SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University women's basketball team was tabbed to finish 10th in the Northeast Conference (NEC) for the 2009-10 season as voted on by the league's head coaches. The announcement was made Thursday morning during a media teleconference, which served as a prelude to the leagues 24th season of women's hoops.

Be sure to catch the excitement as men’s coach Tim O’Shea and women’s coach Mary Burke lead their respective teams into their second year competing at the Division I level and the school’s first full season in the Northeast Conference.

SMITHFIELD, RI – A total of 14 home dates highlight the 2009-10 Bryant University women’s basketball schedule that was announced today by head coach Mary Burke. The Bulldogs, who embark on their second year competing at the Division I level this winter, will play three of its first five games of the season at home right off the bat.
