Women's Lacrosse Hosts Touring Team From Japan Thursday

SMITHFIELD,RI - The Bryant University women's lacrosse team played host the Keio University of Japan for an exhibition match at Sutton Field on Thursday afternoon.  The Bulldogs fell 17-9 despite playing shorthanded in the match.

Keio University is currently on a training tour throughout the United States this month, playing several schools during their visit.  One of the top programs in Japan, Keio University is made up of five campus in the Tokyo-Yokohama metropolitan area. 

The Keio women's lacrosse team is a member of the Japanese Lacrosse Association as the sport continues to grow in the country.
