Bryant's Shaun Leddy Named Player of the Week in Northeast-10
SMITHFIELD, RI - Bryant University's Shaun Leddy has been named the
Northeast-10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for
Mar. 20. Leddy, a junior from Sea Girt, NJ, scored six goals
in a pair of games last week and added three assists to help lead
the Bulldogs to a 3-0 start to the 2006 season.
She had four goals in leading Bryant to an 18-7 win over Southern Connecticut last Saturday and added nien ground ball and four draw controls for the week.
She had five goals in Bryant's season-opening win over Presbyterian in Palm Beach, Florida last week, giving her 100 for her career. She enters Tuesday's game with top-ranked Stonehill with 106 career goals in three seasons.
