BRYANT WOMEN'S LACROSSE DEFEATS SAINT ANSLEM 18-13
MANCHESTER, N.H. -- The Bryant women's lacrosse team bounced back from a tough triple overtime loss Saturday with an 18-13 win over Saint Anselm College Tuesday afternoon. Bryant trailed 7-6 at the half but out-scored the Hawks 12 to 6 in the second to win their eighth game of the season.
Senior Shaun Leddy (Sea Girt, NJ) led the way with five goals while Lauren Carlisle (San Diego, Calif.), Lindsey Cann (Danvers, Mass.) and Delia Glover (Marston Mills, Mass.) each added three in the victory.
Trailing by a goal at the half, Glover tied this up with a goal to open the second half while Carlisle and Caitlin Hansen (Spring Lake, NJ) followed Glover's goal to put the Bulldogs in front for good.
The Bulldogs out-shot Saint Anselm 36 to 31 in the game and got 11 saves from freshman goalie Chelsea Pettingill (South Portland, Maine).
Bryant (8-4, 6-3 NE-10) will host Merrimack College for a makeup game this Thursday night starting at 7 p.m. and will host Adelphi Saturday for Senior Day.
