WOMEN'S LACROSSE HOSTS MERRIMACK TONIGHT AT 7 P.M.

The Bulldogs and Warriors finally meet tonight after having the original meeting earlier this month rained out.  Bryant is coming off an 18-13 win at Saint Anselm on Tuesday afternoon while Merrimack defeated Southern New Hampshire 10-8 to snap a two -game losing skid. Both Bryant and Merrimack have qualified for the upcoming Northeast-10 Conference tournament with the two teams likely to meet next Wednesday afternoon for a quarterfinal round matchup.  Tonight's game will also likely determine where the game will be played.

THE BULLDOGS
Bryant bounced back from a 15-14 triple-overtime loss at Southern New Hampshire last weekend with an 18-13 win over Saint Anselm on Tuesday afternoon. Shaun Leddy stayed red-hot with another five goal performance in the win.  Leddy, who equaled a career-high with seven goals in a win over New Haven a week ago, now has 29 goals on the season, just ahead of Lauren Carlisle and Delia Glover who each have 28.  Caitlin Hansen leads the way with 31 goals on the season this year.

THE WARRIORS
Merrimack was picked to finish second in the NE-10 by the league coaches (including one first place vote), just ahead of Bryant which was picked third. The Warriors defeated Bryant, 14-10 in the semifinals of last year's conference tournament.  Amanda Simeone has a team-best 36 goals while Kathleen Esposito is next with 34 this season.

UP NEXT
The Bulldogs will host Adelphi this Saturday afternoon for Senior Day.  Game will start at 1 p.m. with seniors Shaun Leddy, Lauren Carlisle, Amanda Gallant, Caitlin Gardner, Ashley Hegarty, and Liz Moore honored prior to the start of the game.  The Northeast-10 Conference quarterfinals will follow on Wednesday with the NE-10 Semifinals and Championships set for next weekend.
