THREE WOMEN'S LACROSSE PLAYERS NAMED ALL-REGION

SMITHFIELD, RI - Three Bryant University women's lacrosse players were named All-Region for 2007 by the IWLCA. Senior Shaun Leddy (Sea Girt, NJ) was named first team All-Region while junior Caitlin Hansen (Spring Lake, NJ) and sophomore Victoria Russell (Southborough, Mass.) were both named second team all-region.

Leddy had 36 goals and 18 assists for a team-best 68 points last season for the Bulldogs who went 9-6 overall on the year and 7-3 in the Northeast-10.  Leddy also added 38 ground balls, 31 draw controls, and 20 caused turnovers. 

Hansen was second behind Leddy with 47 points after scoring a team-best 39 goals and adding eight assists.  She was also third on the team with 30 ground balls. 

Russell started all 15 games on defense with the bulldogs and led the team with 39 ground balls on the year.
