BRYANT WOMEN'S LACROSSE DEFEATS AIC 21-5
CHICOPEE, MA - The Bryant women's lacrosse team raised its record to 3-1 on the season with a 21-5 win over American International College Wednesday evening. It was the Norhteas-10 Conference opener for the Bulldogs who have now won three straight since opening the season with a loss at Division I Louisville back in February. The Bulldogs will host top-ranked and defending national champion C.W. Post on Saturday at noon.
Against the Yellow Jackets the Bulldogs led 1-0 from the start thanks to a quick goal from junior Delia Glover. After AIC tied the game moments later at 1-1, Caitlin Hanson scored back to back goals to make it 3-1 and the Bulldogs never looked back. Leading 18-2 at the half, Bryant added three second half goals to improve to 3-1 on the season.
Glover finished the night with four goals while Kaitlyn McCabe also scored four times while Allison Faiola, who set a school record with eight goals in last week's win over Rollins, scored three Wednesday against the Yellow Jackets. Hansen would also finish with three while Eliza Demarseilles chipped in with a pair.
