HEALY ON GETTINGS: Kelsea is a freshman with great potential. As she competes for minutes this spring, we will rely on her speed to aid the transition to attack.

2010: Appeared in 14 games, starting in two for the Bulldogs... Scored five goals and added an assist for six points on the year... Scored goals in three-straight games against Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart and Columbia before putting on in the net against crosstown rival Brown and another in the season finale against Saint Francis (PA), where she also recorded her only assist of the season... Of her eight shots, seven found their target... Went 1-for-2 on free-position opportunities... Collected six ground balls and one draw control win.

Before Bryant: A 2009 graduate of Mercy High School, Gettings was a two-sport athlete who lettered in volleyball and lacrosse... Named an all-area team selection in both sports.

Personal: Born on September 1, 1991... Daughter of Michael and Patti Gettings... Has one brother, Michael... Plans to study communications in the College of Arts and Sciences.
