HEALY ON KUHNS: As a second-year captain, Victoria is expected to be a leader on defense. Opposing teams feel her presence through her physical style of play.

In the record books: In just three seasons with the Bulldogs, Kuhns left her mark on the program... SINGLE-GAME RECORDS: second in draw controls (9 at Adelphi, April 26, 2008)... SINGLE-SEASON RECORDS: tied for first in games played (18, 2008) and games started (18, 2008).

2010: Started in all 16 games at defense as a senior captain for the Black and Gold... Finished third on the team in caused turnovers with 18... Picked up 21 ground balls on the year, including a season-best three in a home win over LIU.

2009: Played in all 16 games as a junior, including 15 as a starting defender... Led the team with 30 ground balls on the year and added five draw controls and nine caused turnovers... Season-best four ground balls against Monmouth, Iona and Long Island... Forced four turnovers against the Blackbirds.

2008: Started all 18 games for the Bulldogs, scoring a goal against American International College on March 19... Recorded 25 ground balls on the season.

Before Bryant: Joined the Bulldogs as a sophomore after spending her freshman year at Le Moyne College... A 2006 graduate of South Windsor High School... Three-time all-conference selection... Earned all-state and All-America Honorable Mention honors in 2006... Captain as a senior.

Personal: Born April 19, 1988... Daughter of Thomas and Lesa Kuhns... Has one brother, Thomas Jr., and one sister, Liza... Studies management in the College of Business.
