SMITHFIELD, R.I. – After leading the Bryant University women's lacrosse team to an undefeated regular season and its first Northeast Conference Regular-Season title, senior attack Haley Bloom (Hauppauge, N.Y.) has been named the NEC Player of the Week.

One of the most gifted offensive players in school history, Bloom helped the Bulldogs (13-3, 7-0) set a school record for victories, wrap up the first undefeated league season in program history and obtain the top seed for this week's upcoming NEC tournament.

In two games, Bloom recorded 11 points on eight goals and three assists. She began her weekend with three goals and three assists for a career-high six points in a 16-9 victory over LIU Brooklyn. Bloom followed up the performance with a career-high tying five markers against Sacred Heart on Senior Day. The program's Division I leader in points, Bloom finished the regular season with her first-career 50-point season and leads the team with 52 points (32g, 20a).

The top seed and host of this weekend's NEC tournament, the Bulldogs will host fourth-seeded Central Connecticut on Friday, May 2 at 4:00 p.m.
