Dana Marchitelli enters her first season as a member of the Bulldog coaching staff in 2011-12.

Marchitelli was a four-year member of the women’s lacrosse program at Wagner College from 2007-11, where she was a four-time Northeast Conference Honor Roll selection. She played under current Bryant head coach Karen Healy, during Healy’s one-year stint with the Seahawks in 2007.

While playing for the Seahawks, Marchitelli was a three-year varsity letterwinner. She played in 30 career games, starting 16 of them, scoring 18 goals and adding 17 assists while playing many different roles on the offensive end of the field.

Although this is Marchitelli’s first stop on the collegiate coaching ladder, she has served as head lacrosse coach at Lochearn Camp for Girls in Post Mills, Vt. Prior to Lochearn, she was the head coach for Davidsonville Athletics, a travel program in Annapolis, Md.

A native of Annapolis, Md., Marchitelli served as captain and lettered in lacrosse, volleyball and basketball at South River High School. Marchitelli graduated with honors from Wagner College in 2011, earning a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Business Administration.
