Harmon Named First Team All-Conference, Three Others Named

SOUTH EASTON, MASS. ? Bryant University women?s soccer senior midfielder Kristen Harmon (Nashua, NH) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference First Team in announcement made today.
She was joined by fellow Bulldogs Casey Grange (Methuen, Mass.) who was named to the second team, and Kim Rekart (Ellicott City, MD) and Terri Gidius (Coventry, Conn.) who were named to the third team.
Harmon was named to the first team for her outstanding senior season in the midfield for Bryant where she started all 20 games. For the season she finished third on the team with 10 goals and four assists for a total of 24 points.
Grange, who was Bryant?s leading scorer as a forward, was named to the second team for her excellent sophomore season for the Bulldogs. For the season she scored 11 goals and had seven assists for a total of 29 points.
Rekart, the Bulldogs senior goalie, was named to the third team for her sensational senior season in goal for Bryant where she started all 20 games. For the season she had 1.05 goals against average, with 13 wins, six shutouts, and two additional team shutouts.
Gidius was named to third team for being a leader for Bryant on the defensive end at the midfield position. The junior led the Bryant defense to six team shutouts. She also chipped in on the offensive scoring two and adding two assists for a total of six points on the season.
