Women?s Soccer Falls to Pace 2-1

BRIARCLIFF, NY- Kerri Kaylor scored what would be the winning goal with two minutes remaining in the first half to lead Pace University past Bryant College, 2-1, on Senior Day on the Briarcliff campus of Pace University. Pace improves to 10-6-1 overall and 8-4-1 in the Northeast-10 while Bryant drops to 12-4-2 overall and 8-3-2 in conference play.

Kelly Fazio scored the first goal of the game, and her 5th of the season, 31 minutes into the first half on a breakaway. Senior Angela Talucci found Fazio with a perfect touch pass for her 2nd assist of the season. Talucci now has 13 career assists and 43 career points, both good for 3rd place on both charts.

Bryant's Kristen Harmon (Nashua, NH) scored the Bulldogs only goal of the day on a pass from Diane Pascle (Plymouth, MA) at the 87 minute mark. Pascale found Harmon in front of the net, and Harmon blasted a shot to the upper left corner.

Pace Jocelyne Durando had a brilliant day in goal for the Setters, stopping nine shots in 90:00 minutes while allowing just one goal in the win. Her counterpart, Bryant's Kim Rekart (Ellicott City, MD) had two saves, while allowing two goals.

Bryant will return to action in its last regular season game Wednesday, October 27 when they travel to Saint Michael?s. Game time is set for 2:30PM.
