Women's Soccer Explodes for 21 Goals

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Bryant University freshman forward Diane Pascale (Plymouth, Mass.) scored six goals to lead the Bryant women's soccer team to a 21-0 win over Bloomfield College at the RCMS Controls Classic held at Jess Dow Field on the campus of Southern Connecticut State University.


Pascale Netted 6 Goals

With the win, Bryant improves to 3-1 on the season heading into Wednesday's home opener against Saint Anselm at Bulldog Stadium. Against Bloomfield, Bryant had 12 different players score a goal with all but three starters finding the back of the net in the game.

Bloomfield had no shots on goal in the game as Bryant had over 30 shots on goal. Bryant came within two goals of tying an NCAA record for goals in a game. The NCAA record for goals in a game is 23 held by Kennesaw State in a win over Spelman College in 2002.
