Three Bulldogs named to the 2005 NSCAA New England Region Second Team

Grange, Sandrowski, and Gidius named to the
2005 NSCAA New England Region Second Team

Release: Three Bulldogs of the women's soccer squad have been selected to the 2005 NSCAA New England Region Second Team. In a recent release by the NSCAA, seniors Hannah Sandrowski and Terri Gidius, and junior Casey Grange recieved Second Team honors.

Terri has played in 79 career games for the Bulldogs patrolling the midfield. She has tallied 14 goals and added nine assists. Senior tri-captain Terri Gidius (Coventry, CT) was also named to the All-Academic First-Team for her hard work on the field and in the classroom. Gidius was named to the NE-10 All-Conference Second team and will particpate in the senior bowl.

Junior Casey Grange (Methuen, MA) received a NE-10 All-Conference Second Team selection earlier this fall to go along with the NSCAA award.

Other accolades that Hannah Sandrowski (Trumbull, CT) has received this fall included being named the Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Year in the November 6th release from the Conference office. In addition to being selected Defensive Player of the Year, Hannah was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference First-Team. Sandrowski has been with the Bulldogs for four seasons and has played 74 games anchoring the defense. She will also compete in the senior bowl.
