Bulldogs extend win streak with 2-1 victory over Southern CT
October 15, 2005 –New Haven, Conn. – Sophomore Diane Pascale (Plymouth,Mass.) scored two goals for Bryant University (12-3-2/8-2-1 NE- 10) to get the win over Southern Connecticut State University (9-4-2/5-4-2 NE 10) in a Northeast Conference women’s soccer match Saturday night at Jess Dow Field.
Junior Allison Ahearn (Farmingville, N.Y.) scored the only goal for the Owls with the assist by Theresa Viscardi (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.). Sara Vienneau (Salem, N.H.) contributed with an assist to Pascale for the Bulldogs.
Southern goal keeper Stephanie McGinley (Naugatuck, Conn.) ended the night with three saves.
The Bulldogs will return to action on Monday with a make-up game against Assumption with a start time of 3:30pm at Bulldog Stadium.
