Four Bryant University women's soccer players were named to Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic teams, as announced by conference officials this week.

Headlining the quartet is goaltender Jessica Clark (Barnstable, Mass.), whose 3.87 GPA earned her the Bulldogs' only First-Team All-Academic honor. The junior communications major has allowed just one goal in eight appearances for the Bulldogs this season and has made six starts to back her 6-0-2 record. Clark's five shutouts and 0.13 goals against average contribute to the squad's success in its 2007 campaign.

Anchored by a 3.68 GPA, junior finance major Danielle Malta (Bethel, Conn.) leads a trio of Second-Team All-Academic honorees. The backbone of the No. 9 Bulldogs' defense, Malta has started all 17 contests for Bryant and continually shuts down opponents' top scorers.

Fellow defender Lauren Childers (Franklin, Mass.) joins Malta on the All-Academic Second Team. The senior communications major sports a 3.35 GPA and has appeared in all 17 games this season, earning starts in four.

Wrapping up the All-Academic bids is senior striker Stephanie Zalewski (Parsippany, NJ). Zalewski has earned 15 starts this season, but has seen time in all 17 bouts. The psychology major with a 3.58 GPA has four goals and two assists in 2007 and has registered 17 shots on goal.
