Five Bulldogs Named to NEWISA Team; Reising Scores Goal in NEWISA Senior Bowl
SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Capping an off-season full of awards, five Bryant women's soccer players were named to the NEWISA All New England Team, with Casey Grange a first-team selection. Along with Grange, senior Megan Reising participated in the 2006 NEWISA Senior Bowl last week at Merrimack College. Reising scored for the South team. The game finished in a 2-2 tie.

Megan Reising and Casey Grange, Bryants only two seniors from the 2006 Womens Soccer team, have been selected to participate in the NEWISA Division II Senior Bowl on Sunday, December 3rd at Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass. at 12 p.m. The Bulldogs finished the 2006 season with a school record 15 wins and their second career NCAA appearance.

Women's Soccer Season Ends with 2-0 Loss to Saint Rose in NCAA Tournament
RINDGE, N.H. - The Bryant Women's Soccer came to an end as they lost 2-0 to third-ranked Saint Rose in the NCAA Div. II First Round game at Sudexho Field at Franklin Pierce College. Ashley McGuire and Lindsay Bove scored for the Golden Knights. Katie Mitchell kept Bryant in the game, making five saves. Holly Tyser had Bryant's best chance, as she fired one of the cross bar in the second half.

Women's Soccer Loses to Franklin Pierce 3-1 in NE-10 Championship
RINDGE, N.H. - The Bryant Women's Soccer team fought hard against the 17-2 Franklin Pierce Ravens, but they dropped the NE-10 Championship game 3-1 at a blustery Sodexho Field Sunday afternoon. Casey Grange's 19th goal of the season tied the match at one with the first half winding down. Tricia Spada assisted on Grange's tally. But Gabriela Demoner gave the Ravens the lead in the 65th minute firing a shot past a diving Katie Mitchell. The Bulldogs will await their seeding in the NCAA Tournament, which will be announced Monday at 5 p.m. on ncaasports.com

Women's Soccer Ready For 2006 Season

The Bulldogs, under the direction of sixth-year coach Chris Flint, will play the Rhode Island Rays on Mar. 25 and scrimmage Providence College Mar. 28 at 7 pm.
